An excellent opportunity has arisen for an analyst programmer to join a leading blue chip client within the financial arena. Your focus will be on application maintenance. Additionally your role will be to administer, maintain and troubleshoot business-critical systems in a professional and timely manner.
Candidates must demonstrate at least 2-3 years commercial experience as an Analyst Programmer whilst supporting a variety of systems, in terms of size and complexity. You should have particular knowledge of PL*SQL and Oracle Server (Data Base) 8.0.5 or above. In addition you must have experience of ‘C`, Unix (Including ‘Crontab`), Gupta Windows, Toad 7.5 and an understanding of Trade Information Data Feeds (Crest, Thomson, DRS). Candidates who demonstrate all the above skills and additionally have worked within the financial sector will be highly favoured for this role. Only candidates with the above skills need apply.
